Choose any region in the world and explain how the migration streams to and from that region have changed between 1990 and 2010 in the space below. You need to write multiple sentences and you need to include details (numbers and names of regions).
I chose to use the migration streams from the Former Soviet Union Region. I noticed that in 1990, 2,746,348 people immigrated to this region, but in 2010, only 2,100,358 people immigrated here. Also, in 1990, 4,415,020 people emigrated, and in 2010, only 2,453,295 emigrated. From this, I can say that the migration streams have decreased over time. Maybe they fixed some of their region's push factors. Another thing I've noticed is that their biggest migration stream (to another region) is to Europe every year from 1990 to 2010.
